Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Syrup

Levocetirizine is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, and sneezing. It is also used to relieve itching and hives. It works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction.

Levocetirizine belongs to a class of medicines called antihistamines. It blocks the natural chemical substance (histamine) produced in the body during an allergic state. It also subsides (lowers) your child's immune system's response to these conditions, thereby reducing the symptoms.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare.

Levocetirizine is contraindicated in people with renal impairment

It is used cautiously in narrow angle glaucoma and in peptic ulcer
Levocetirizine is cautiously used in pregnancy and during lactation

Store it at 20°C to 25°C
