L-Arginine, Co-enzyme Q10, Lycopene and Selenium

Our product comprises of L-Arginine, Co-enzyme Q10, Lycopene and Selenium. These antioxidant and cell energizing nutrients can improve sperm motility, sperm count, and the number of normal sperm cells, while reducing damage to sperm DNA—ultimately improving the chances of successful pregnancy. This supplement is taken by couples who face fertility issues.
This supplement works:

  • By increasing the total number of sperm cells produced (sperm count),
  • By improving their physical attributes (morphology),
  • By improving their ability to move properly once ejacuated (motility),
  • By affecting the integrity of their DNA, and
  • By increasing blood flow to the genitals

About Composition

L-arginine is an amino acid often taken as a supplement by couples facing fertility issues. It increases blood circulation to the genitals. Blood flow is important for the proper functioning of the reproductive organs, and may improve the chances of conception. L-arginine is also used by the body to create Nitric Oxide (NO) which helps to relax the arterial walls and improve blood pressure. L-arginine may also improve the motility of sperm, thus increasing the chance of conception in couples suffering from low sperm motility. Where IVF is used, l-arginine can be used to improve the quality of sperm, increasing the chance of achieving a fertilized egg. L-arginine increases blood flow to the genitals in both men and women, leading to an increased libido. A healthy libido plays an important role in conception.
Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that body makes primarily in the liver. Its primary job in body is to help your other cells make energy. CoQ10 is present and measurable in seminal fluid, the fluid that carries sperm cells from their production point and beyond. Concentration of CoQ10 directly correlates with both sperm count and motility, or movement. CoQ10 deficiency may lead to not only damaged DNA within the sperm, but low levels affect the ability of sperm to swim, known as motility. Ubiquinol supplementation has a twofold support system for sperm health, one it is protective and second it supports motility by increasing cellular energy.
Lycopene is a natural, plant-derived carotenoid pigment that provides the red color of tomatoes, watermelon, and other fruits. It has powerful antioxidant characteristics and is involved in a variety of other cellular activities as well. Low intake of lycopene in the diet is associated with poor semen quality and male factor infertility. However, supplementing with lycopene has been shown to reverse some or all of that damage. Another way lycopene enhances sperm quality is by reducing the impact of advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs), the dangerous sugar/protein structures that form over a lifetime of exposure to blood glucose.
Selenium has excellent antioxidant properties, plays a part in chemical reactions that stop free radicals from damaging cells and DNA.
Selenium is a major micro-mineral antioxidant important for immune and thyroid function, breast health in women and needed to increase male fertility. Men loose selenium in semen because of Poor nutritional intake and deficiency has been linked to low sperm count, poor motility and odd morphology (shape). Selenium deficiency can not only lead to infertility, but can also increase the risk of cardiac failure, cancer, liver disease, hair loss and skin changes.
