Calcitriol, Calcium Carobnate & Zinc Capsule

This is an ideal dietary supplement for people with knee pain and is a remarkable example of nutritional science - being a delicately balanced formula to improve bone and joint health and combating debilitating bone-joint diseases.
This is a perfect combination which contains Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, and Zinc as active ingredients. The components in combination are helping body in
  • Low blood calcium levels in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets
  • Conditions caused by low calcium levels such as bone loss (osteoporosis), weak bones (osteomalacia/rickets), decreased activity of the parathyroid gland(hypoparathyroidism), and a certain muscle disease (latent tetany)
  • Certain patients to make sure they are getting enough calcium (e.g., women who are pregnant, nursing, or postmenopausal, people taking certain medications such as phenytoin, phenobarbital, or prednisone)
  • Neutralizing acids thus relieving acid reflux
  • Regulating the intestinal fluid transport, mucosal integrity, immunity, gene expression and oxidative stress along with taking care of body's normal growth and its repair
CALCIUM CARBONATE:
Higher percentage of elemental calcium than other calcium salt. Important mineral for the formation of normal bone tissue.
CALCITRIOL:
Calcitriol is a form of vitamin D which ensures better absorption of calcium. It reduces serum alkaline phosphatase levels, and may reduce elevated parathyroid hormone levels and the histological manifestations of osteitis fibrosa cystica (a skeletal disorder caused by hyperparathyroidism) and defective mineralization.
ZINC:
Helpful for optimal bone matrix development & bone density.
These supplements include any consumed products that aim to supplement the diet and provide additional nutrients that may be missing from it or are not being consumed in sufficient quantities. So this combination increase overall level of health, and may even slow down the process of growing old.
  • Bone diseases in ren al osteodystrophy
  • Dietary supplement
  • Bones weakening
  • Better absorption
  • Acidity & Heartburn
  • Stomach ulcer
  • Diarrhea
  • Wilson's disease
  • Acne
  • Age related vision loss
  • Anemia
  • Anorexia
  • Vitamin D deficiency
  • Postmenopausal osteoporosis

CALCITROL :

It is a form of vitamin D and it needs to change to the active form by the liver and kidneys. It is used for established osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, to reduce the risk of vertebral and hip fractures. Osteoporosis is the loss of bone mass resulting in brittle bones which can fracture more easily and is often associated with lack of oestrogen in postmenopausal women. It is also used for induced osteoporosis following treatment with a corticosteroid, an antiinflammatory steroid that can cause bone loss and to correct defective calcium metabolism, which results in weak bones, due to renal osteodystrophy caused by chronic renal failure, particularly when undergoing haemodialysis; hyperparathyroidism (high levels of parathyroid hormone) with moderate to severe chronic renal failure (pre-dialysis), hypoparathyroidism (low high levels of parathyroid hormone) from various causes, and rickets.
Calcitriol promotes calcium absorption in the intestines and retention at the kidneys thus increasing serum calcium levels. It also increases renal tubule phosphate resorption consequently decreasing serum phosphatase levels, PTH levels and bone resorption.

CALCIUM:

Calcium is ne eded for so many different functions in the body, from bones, to blood clotting, your muscles etc. It is an essential mineral that provides strength to bones and teeth, but it has several other health benefits. Calcium is essential to nerve conduction, hormone status and muscle contraction. Some research has shown that diets rich in calcium, fruits and vegetables can reduce the risk of high blood.
Calcium helps the body form bones and teeth and is required for blood clotting, transmitting signals in nerve cells, and muscle contraction. Calcium helps prevent osteoporosis; of the two to three pounds of calcium contained in the human body, 99% is located in the bones and teeth. Calcium reduces the risk of osteoporosis.

ZINC:

Zinc is a trace mineral and it is essential for many bodily functions including the immune response, reproduction, growth and development, and neurological roles. It is found in several systems and biological reactions, and it is needed for immune function, wound healing, blood clotting, and thyroid function.
Zinc is not only important for enzymes but also for proteins and amino acid syntheses. It is involved in learning, memory formation, cellular signalling, gene expression and the metabolism of DNA and RNA. Zinc makes up a small percentage of the bone; zinc is needed to form hydroxylapatite which is a naturally occurring crystalline calcium complex. Hydroxylapatite crystals form the bulk of bones and teeth.
Zinc can also improve bone health indirectly by other means. For example, zinc promotes wound healing and enhances the functions of the immune system.
Three are two major roles for zinc concerning bone health:
  • Bone mineral hydroxyapatite crystals contain a complex of zinc and fluoride
  • Zinc stimulates bone building osteoblasts, and inhibits the function of bone resorption by osteoclasts
Pregnant and lactating mothers should not take any single supplement in higher - than - normal doses unless recommended by a health - care provider for special conditions. The combination should only be used in pregnancy and lactation if benefits outweigh the risk.
The product is possib le safe for most adults. There is no disadvantage associated with the product if taken under the recommended usage.
